About us…
A New Leaf teaches children how to make simple, cheap, plant-based meals in order to harness the positive benefits for their physical and mental health as well as the health of their environment. Children will be gently encouraged to incorporate more healthy foods into their diets and avoid unhealthy options.
Children aged 10-14 learn how to cook six plant-based meals, such as bean burgers, lentil shepherd’s pie and chilli non carne, learning skills for life. Recipes are taught over six weeks through an after-school class, and afterwards kids can eat their creations for dinner.
